Dragon Ball: The Breakers for PlayStation 4 is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival game set in the Dragon Ball universe, developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Released in October 2022, the game takes a unique approach, diverging from typical Dragon Ball fighting games. Instead of focusing on iconic battles, it pits a group of players—ordinary civilians—against a powerful “Raider,” a villain from the Dragon Ball series such as Frieza, Cell, or Majin Buu.
In each match, one player controls the Raider, while the other seven play as Survivors, who must use teamwork, strategy, and various gadgets to escape or outwit the Raider. Survivors can find and activate a Super Time Machine to escape, transform temporarily into iconic heroes for defense, or rely on items and stealth tactics. Dragon Ball: The Breakers offers character customization options, different maps with destructible environments, and provides both Dragon Ball fans and new players with a suspenseful, fresh take on the franchise.
